Remove the footwell trim
Remove the trim panel under the glovebox. The 8V uses clips and screws. Lower the panel to reveal the filter housing.

Remove the old filter
Open the filter housing cover. Note the airflow arrows on the old filter. Slide it out and compare to the new one.

Install the new filter
Insert the new charcoal filter with correct orientation. It should slide in smoothly. Close the cover.

Reassemble
Refit the trim panel. Start the car and test the fan on high.

Final check
Verify strong airflow and no odors. The S3 cabin should smell fresh.
