Set the HVAC to recirculate
If you do not see the filter housing, press the recirculation button. On the LX570 the filter carrier moves into view in recirc mode.

Remove the glove box shelf and panel
Pull out the glove box shelf. Then remove the plastic panel behind it to expose the cabin filter cover.

Open the filter cover
Release the accordion-style filter cover. Pull it up and forward to open it.

Remove the old filter
Slide the old cabin filter out of its housing. Note the airflow arrow direction on the frame.

Install the new filter
Insert the new filter with the airflow arrow pointing the same direction as the old one. Make sure it sits flat.

Reassemble the panels
Close the filter cover. Refit the plastic panel and the glove box shelf.

Verify airflow
Close the glove box and start the vehicle. Run the fan to confirm strong, clean airflow from the vents.
