Follow these steps carefully
On the 2005-2010 Volkswagen Jetta: disconnect the negative battery cable (important if the door has a side airbag). Pry off trim caps, remove Torx/panel screws, and carefully unclip the door panel. Unplug the window switch and any speakers/cables before lifting the panel clear.
On the 2005-2010 Volkswagen Jetta: peel back the vapor barrier carefully so you can reseal it later. Tape or clamp the window glass in the raised position. Locate the regulator bolts and motor connector through the access holes.
