Follow these steps carefully
Disconnect the negative battery cable on the 2017-2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E300 (important if side airbags are in the door). Pry off trim caps, remove door-panel screws, and carefully unclip the panel. Unplug window/lock switches and the handle cable. Wear gloves and eye protection.
Tape the window glass in the up position or support it with a suction cup/block. Peel back the watershield carefully so it can be reused. Locate the regulator rails, motor, and glass channel bolts on the 2017-2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E300 door.
Lower the glass slightly if needed (temporarily reconnect power) to access the glass-clamp bolts, then support the glass and remove those bolts. Lift and tape the glass fully up out of the way inside the 2017-2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E300 door.
Unplug the window motor connector. Remove the regulator mounting bolts and fish the assembly out through the access opening. Compare the new regulator/motor to the old one for the 2017-2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E300.
Fish the new regulator into the door, start all mounting bolts, and torque to spec. Reconnect the motor plug. Align the glass into the clamps, install bolts, and verify smooth travel before final torque on the 2017-2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E300.
