2015 F-150, 109k miles. The power windows work sometimes and then just quit for a while, all four at once. Then they'll start working again randomly. Fuse looks fine. Master switch going bad?

All four dying together is the important detail. That rules out four separate motors or regulators. It has to be something they all share: the power feed going into the master switch.

On your 2015 F-150 the windows run off a 30A auto-reset circuit breaker in the fuse panel under the dash on the passenger side, fed by the delayed accessory relay. A breaker that trips when it gets warm and resets when it cools is the classic cause of exactly what you describe: everything works, then everything quits for a while, then it comes back on its own. A fuse would just stay dead, so the fuse looking fine tells you nothing here.

Next time it happens, pop the door panel and check for 12 volts at the master switch connector. No power there means the problem is upstream, the breaker or the relay. Power present means the master switch itself is dropping out.

Also check the driver's door wiring harness where it flexes at the door jamb. Years of opening and closing can crack a wire inside the insulation, and that also gives you intermittent everything. Wiggle the harness while a helper works the switch and see if the windows cut out.

My bet is the breaker or the relay. The master switch is possible but it would be unusual for all four to fail at once from the switch.
