Open the hood on the B8.5 A5. The engine air filter box is on the passenger side of the engine bay. It is a large black plastic housing with an intake duct.
Release the metal clips around the airbox lid. On the B8.5 there are typically 4-6 clips. Lift the lid carefully without forcing it.
