Follow these steps carefully
Turn the lights off and open the hood. Locate the bulb access cover behind the headlight assembly. On some models you may need to move an air box, battery cover, or washer reservoir for hand access.
Twist the dust cover or bulb socket counterclockwise and remove it. Note the connector orientation before unplugging.
Unplug the electrical connector. Release any retaining clip or twist the bulb carrier free, then pull the bulb straight out. Avoid forcing plastic tabs.
Handle the new bulb with gloves or a clean cloth — skin oil on halogen glass shortens bulb life. Seat the bulb in the correct index tabs and secure the clip/socket.
Reconnect the electrical connector, refit the dust cover, and restore any parts moved for access. Turn on low and high beams to verify both sides before closing the hood. Aim headlights if the beam pattern looks off.
Test your repair before closing everything up. If something doesn't work right, double-check your steps.
